John Azevedo’s story is one of resilience, family, and perseverance.
Born in Australia, John moved to Brazil as a teenager, where he embraced a new culture and even forgot his English. In Brazil, he built a life, married, became a father, and developed a strong entrepreneurial spirit — from managing a timber company that exported to Australia and the U.S., to leading an electronics distribution business in São Paulo.
Years later, John returned to Australia with his wife and daughter, Manuela, carrying the experience of both worlds. Starting over wasn’t easy, but with faith and determination, he pursued his passion for real estate once again. He studied, earned his license, and re-entered the industry — this time with a deeper purpose: to help families like his find not just houses, but places to truly call home.
For over 20 years, John has lived the challenges of immigrants and locals alike. He knows the value of security, the joy of belonging, and the peace of finding the right home. That is why he founded Deus Pai Management: to serve Australians, Brazilians, and immigrants with honesty, transparency, and care, the same values that guided his own journey.
